Angus Reid Global is headed by Dr. Angus Reid, Canada’s best known and longest practicing pollster. He’s spent more than four decades asking people what they think and feel about the top political, social and economic issues of the day. He is supported by a team of practitioners conducting high quality research for corporations, governments and non‐profit organizations. ARG has pioneered best practices in online polling and its results have stood the test of the majority of North American elections over the last decade. ARG conducts its surveys on the Angus Reid Forum, Springboard America and Springboard UK panels, which statistically represent demographic segments of the Canadian, American and British populations.
From 1979 to 2001, he was founder and CEO of Angus Reid Group, which grew into the largest research firm in Canada, with revenues of $60 million. It was sold to Ipsos SA in 2000. In 2004, Angus became CEO of Vision Critical, a revolutionizing and fast growing online panel company.
Angus has written numerous columns on economic, social and political issues and well as the best-seller; “Shakedown: How the New Economy is Changing our Lives” (1996). He has a B.A. and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Manitoba, and in 1974 he received a Ph.D. in Sociology from Carleton University in Ottawa.
He is the recipient of a Canada Council Doctoral Fellowship, the Entrepreneur of the Year award, and was inducted into the Marketing Hall of Legends (2010).
She is the recipient of the prestigious Jack Webster award for Best TV Reporting. She has also worked as an advocate for the small business community with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
She holds a degree in Journalism and Political Science from Carleton University. She serves on the boards of the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation and the CKNW Orphans' Fund.
The Web Editor is experienced in this role, has strong editorial judgment, excellent writing skills, and a proven and well developed visual approach. You must be able to write quickly and accurately to constant deadlines.
The successful applicant is an expert at organizing, producing and improving web content related to Canadian and international public opinion polling content. You will update and enhance files, (including audio and visual content), write flawless and gripping copy, and select and edit images and video.
The right fit for ARG will be an SEO specialist who is determined to create and display content on multiple platforms in a way that maximizes audience online, via social media channels, through our blogs, and on mobile devices.
You’ll know how to work with Flash, Photoshop, InDesign, HTML, CSS, PHP, Wordpress, social media platforms and other web-related multimedia software tools. Graphic design skills are an asset.
Your job will include maximizing ARG's presence online, driving page views and engagement with new and returning audiences.

You have at least an undergraduate degree and five years related professional experience.
